Brian Farrell

Brian Farrell is a Boston-based visual artist. He earned his BA in Communications at Eastern University. More recently, he obtained an MA in Media Studies and a Graduate Certificate in Media Management from The New School. His extensive experience ranges from short abstract narrative films to documentaries.
His most recent role was the primary Director of Photography for Irish TV’s (Philadelphia branch) coverage of Pope Francis’ visit to Philadelphia and the Irish Festival in Wildwood. Brian also worked in various aspects of post-production for the EBE award-winning documentary “Travis: The True Story of Travis Walton”, which examined the disappearance of Travis Walton in Arizona in 1975. Over the past two years, he assisted in the distribution of the well-received film, “Here One Day” that dealt with a daughter's loss of her mother to suicide. His short film, "Unravel #22", was awarded Honorable Mention in the Moving Images Category in the 2014 International Photography Awards.
